Remembering our departed loved ones

St. Denys would like to invite all who have been bereaved at any time, to join us for our annual service for All Souls on Sunday 2nd November starting at 4pm.

This is a quiet and reflective service, with appropriate hymns and readings, during which we read out the names of all those who have recently and not so recently died, and we pray for God’s comfort and strength in our loss. There will also be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of our loved ones.

After the service, tea and coffee will be served in our parish centre attached to the church,.

We hope you may be able to join us and look forward to seeing you. You are most welcome.

If you wish for the name or names of a departed loved one or more to be read out at this service, irrespective of whether or not you can attend on the day, please e-mail the Administrator with the name/s and he will add it to the list. The e-mail address is: office@stdenys.org.uk
