The goal of pastoral care is to help people live life in all its fullness in the strength of Jesus and according to his example (John 1.10-11). There are regular opportunities to find pastoral support and fellowship at the Monday Meet and Coffee Mornings as well as on Thursday mornings when the church is open 9-12 with a short service at 10am. See the calendar for more details.
If, at any time, you or someone you know requires pastoral care and/or visiting, please speak to one of the staff team at church. Alternatively, you can contact the office at office@stdenys.org.uk, or on 07803 828454 or get in touch directly with our Pastoral Warden, Kimberley, at pastoral@stdenys.org.uk.
We offer Holy Communion to the housebound and at the care homes in Evington. Private prayer is also available on a one-to-one basis after our main Sunday service.
Funeral services can be held at St Denys with follow up bereavement support available, including a weekly Support Group where trained counselling can be accessed. Our annual All Souls service to remember those who have died is always well attended and appreciated. See the calendar for details.
